Guidelines for Parents

A close understanding between child’s home and school enables him/her to find happiness and meaning in education.

  • Parents/Guardians are not allowed to meet class teacher in classes except on scheduled PTA meetings and fee deposit timings.
  • To attend the parents-teacher meeting is a must for the parents. Only parents are allowed to sign the Report-cards of the students. Brothers or sisters are not allowed to see the ward’s result in any case.
  • Report of monthly and terminal tests must be signed by the parents and returned to the teacher incharge after wards.
  • If a student continuously fails in monthly and terminal tests, he/she will be expelled from the school.
  • Don’t encourage your ward to take leave. Only in case of serious sickness, parents will not be by kith and kin other than parents will not be granted.
  • A student, who is absent for more than 6 days (for boys) or 8 days (for girls) continuously, his/her name will be struck off.
  • Read your ward’s school-diary carefully put your signatures on it.
  • Send your ward to school punctually in time, in neat and clean uniform, polished shoes.
  • Don’t allow your ward to bring bikes, scooters or four-wheelers. Without gear two wheeler is allowed for girls only provided they possess learner’s license.
  • Students are strictly prohibited to bring cell phones, i-pods, cameras or any other expensive material to school. If such things are found with students, they will be confiscated and will not be returned
  • Parents should keep a watchful eye on the friends and society of their ward. They should occasionally check his/her bag. They should also communicate with him/her so that they guide their ward through his/her teenage in a proper way.
  • Keep your atmosphere at home positive for the healthy emotional and psychological development of your ward.
  • Parents are to hire different vans/autos for their sons and daughter. No boy will be allowed in the vans/autos meant for girls.
  • School authorities are not responsible for any kind of strike by van-wallahs or auto-wallahs. Parents should make their own arrangements in case, there is any strike. Leave applications will not be sanctioned in case of auto-strike.
