23rd December 2024 -With the aim of spreading awareness about the significance of Mathematics, R.S. Model Senior Secondary School observed National Mathematics Day, in which students from L.K.G. to 10+2 zealously participated, under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Sanjeev Chandel ( Principal).The day, marking the birth anniversary of renowned Indian Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan,was an opportunity for students to rediscover the magic and wonder of numbers. Students presented inspiring dance performances and recited thought-provoking poems, highlighting the role of Mathematics in diverse fields . Mrs. Taranjit Kaur addressed the audience about the pivotal role of mathematics in shaping young minds. The atmosphere was exhilarating with curiosity and enthusiasm as interactive quizzes and problem solving games challenged the students to think critically and apply their mathematical skills.Dr Sanjeev Chandel acknowledged the relentless efforts of the students as well as their mentors in making this day a grand success.
