On November 14, 2024, R.S. Model Senior Secondary School commemorated Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Prakash Parv with great enthusiasm and reverence. The morning prayer assembly, led by Principal Dr. Sanjeev Chandel, was attended by Vice President Mr. Vinod Sehgal.The celebration began with UKG student Man Asees’ soulful recitation of the Mool Mantra, setting a spiritual tone. Vanshika, a Class XI student, delivered an inspiring speech highlighting Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life, teachings and philosophy. Kiran Jot Kaur, a Class XII student, presented a poignant poetry recitation showcasing Guru Ji’s remarkable personality.The music department’s mesmerizing Shabd Kirtan performance immersed the audience in devotion. Sant Kaur, a Class XII student, shared insights into Kartar Singh Sarabha’s life and martyrdom, encouraging students to draw inspiration from his courage. Dr. Sanjeev Chandel concluded the celebration by emphasizing Guruji’s teachings on peace, brotherhood and selfless service, inspiring students to embody these principles.
