With the aim of encouraging the students to appreciate the beauty of Punjabi Script, R.S.Model Sen.Sec.School organised ‘Punjabi Calligraphy Competition’ under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Sanjeev Chandel (Principal). Students from VI-XII participated enthusiastically in three categories -first category (VI-VIII), second category (IX -X), third category (XI-XII), showcasing their skills in writing Punjabi scripts with precision and flair. The judges were impressed by the students’ talent and dedication to preserving the Punjabi language. Manya(7A), Kritika(6A), Harmanpreet(6A) and Simran (7B) bagged first, second, third and consolation prizes respectively in the first category, whereas in the second category Kiranjot(10 B), Prabhnoor(10 C), Jaspreet(9B) and Simran Oberoi(10 A) clinched first, second, third and consolation prizes. In the third category Arshdeep(11E), Vanshika (11A), Manjot Singh (12J) and Shruti (12 C) got first, second,third and consolation prizes respectively. Dr. Sanjeev Chandel congratulated the winners and motivated all the participants to continue honing their skills and participate in such like competitions in future as well.
