In order to encourage fun learning among the students and to enable them to think out of the box, R.S Model Sen. Sec. School organised a chain of Mathematics Quizzes from July 20 to July 22 under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Sanjeev Chandel (Principal) in which the students of primary (III-V), middle (VI-VIII) and secondary & senior secondary (IX-XII) vigorously participated. The students of different classes from (III-XII) made a cheerful audience. The participants were divided into six teams and each team consisted of three students. Total of 5 rounds were conducted on each day i.e. M.C.Q round, problem solving, Buzzer Round, Rapid Fire and activity round to test the students’ knowledge. Children had a good team spirit wherein small to big, all students were busy and giving tough fight to make their team win. Moreover, audience rounds were also conducted to encourage participation from the audience. Mrs. Suman and Mrs. Pavneet were the judges for primary quiz, Mrs. Harsimran was the judge for middle classes and Mrs. Rajni Bansal was the judge for secondary & senior secondary classes’ quiz. After a tough fight, results were declared. From primary classes, team Circle(Avnish,Bipin,Harpreet) bagged the first position, Rectangle(Samar,Anish,Harmanpreet) clinched second and team Cylinder( Yash,Sargun,Gurtej)got third position. Whereas, from middle classes team Rectangle(Akansh,Devraj,Gourav Pal), Parallelogram(Angel,Làvanya,Sukhdeep)and Kite( Rihan,Anupam ,Bhavish)secured first, second and third position respectively. Furthermore from secondary and senior secondary , team alpha(α)(Bhavna,Gurnain,Kiranjot,Jasleen) got first, Phi (φ)( Deepanshu,Sourab,Ayaan,Abhishek))got second and Pi (𝝅)( Rishav,Jashanpreet,Shubhu,Nitin)got third positions. Dr. Sanjeev Chandel (Principal) felicitated the winners and apprised the students about the momentousness of these quizzes. He also motivated the students to take part in such activities for their holistic development.
