October 7,2023. With the aim of providing a brilliant platform to young scholars for presenting their ideas,visions and aspirations, 15th Inter school Declamation and Poster Making Competition was organised at R.S. Model Sen.Sec.School under the esteemed guidance of Mr. Rakesh Jain (President) and Dr. Sanjeev Chandel (Principal) .Young and talented students of different CBSE and PSEB schools participated enthusiastically.Mrs. Dimple Maddan (D.E.O Ludhiana) was the Chief Guest . For Declamation Contest, Mr. P.S.Khemta (Principal,Sarva Hitkari Sen.Sec.School, Malerkotla), Mrs.Paramjit Kaur (Associate Vice Principal, Govt.Girls college Ludhiana) and for Poster Making Competition ,Artist S.Jaspreet Mohan Singh ( Retired Principal) graced the judgemental seat.Various dignitaries Sh. Vinod Sehgal ( Vice President), Sh. Vaibhav Sehgal ( Cashier),Sh. Vyas Bembi( Manager), Dr. Paramjit Kaur ( Director,Arya Group of Schools), Sh. Anil Gautam ( Gurukul Manager), Sh. Chander Gambhir, Mrs.Shubh Lata(Headmistress) and other members graced the occasion with their benign presence. The program commenced with the welcome of Chief Guest and the judges by presenting a bouquet of flowers ,followed by lamp lighting. After that, the students beautifully chanted Saraswati Vandana. Then Dr. Sanjeev Chandel (Principal) made a welcome speech for all the delegates and permitted to start the event. Firstly, All the participants were apprised about the rules of the competition. The participants left no stone unturned vying with each other in content presentation, diction and expression. Then the mesmerizing dance performance and patriotic songs by the students left everyone spellbound. After a cut throat competition, Sakshi (BCM Arya School) clinched first position,Brahmleen Kaur (Guru Nanak International, BRS Nagar) bagged second prize, Bisman Singh(BVM,Udham singh Nagar) got third and Samridhi (BCM, Chandigarh Road) got consolation prize in Declamation Contest Whereas in Poster Making Competition, Gurpreet (R.S. Model Sr. Sec. School), Amrinderjeet(BCM Focal point), Lovepreet (BCM Chandigarh road) were announced as the proud winners of First,Second , third positions respectively and Kamalnoor (GNIPS Model town) got consolation prize.The judges felicitated all the participants for their zealous participation and also gave tips to become a better orator and artist. Then, the school launched its YouTube Channel and apprised all about the stupendous achievements of the school. Dr. Paramjit Kaur, in her address was appreciative about the endeavours of the participants and expressed her gratitude towards all the guests for sparing their valuable time.The program culminated with the National Anthem.
