With the aim of improving the handwriting skills and fostering an appreciation for the art of writing among students, R.S. Model Senior Secondary School organised English Calligraphy Competition under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Sanjeev Chandel (Principal). Students from classes 6 to 12 participated enthusiastically in three categories- first category(VI-VIII), second category (IX-X), third category(XI-XII) ,demonstrating exceptional talent and impressing the judges with their mastery at writing style, curves, legibility and beautification. Manya(7A), Mannat(7C), Prabhjot(7B) and Sanvi(8C) clinched first, second, third and consolation prizes respectively in the first category whereas, in second category Parbati(10 B), Kiranjot(10 B), Vani(9B), Manisha(10 C) won first, second, third and consolation prizes. Moreover, in the third category Arshpreet(12 C), Nargis(11 A), Sanjana(12 C)and Sania(11 A) got first, second, third and consolation prizes respectively. Dr. Sanjeev Chandel(Principal) congratulated the winners and motivated the students to continue honing their skills and participate in such competitions in future.
