October 28, 2024: R.S. Model Sen. Sec. School organized a spectacular Talent Expo, an exhibition showcasing students’ ingenious projects and models, under the visionary guidance of Sh. Rakesh Jain (President, School Managing Committee). This exemplary exhibition aimed to foster holistic development, aligning with New Education Policy and provided a platform for students from classes III-XII to demonstrate their innovative prowess. The chief guest Mr. Deepak Jain (Chartered Accountant, Jain D and Associates) and the Guest of honour Dr.Rakesh Sharda ( Prof.CIPHET) graced the occasion with their benign presence. The inaugural ceremony commenced with a symbolic lamp-lighting by the Mr. Deepak Jain, Dr. Rakesh Sharda, S. Swarndeep Singh Hundal, Mr.Rakesh Jain (President), Mr. Vyas Bembi (Manager), Mr. Vinod Sehgal (Vice President), Mr. Vaibhav Sehgal (Treasurer), Capt. Vijay Sayal (Secretary), Mr.Sudhir Sayal, Mr. Anil Gautam, Dr. Paramjit Kaur (Director, Arya group of Schools), Dr. Sanjeev Chandel (Principal), Mrs. Shubh Lata (Headmistress) and other sterling members of the managing committee. The auspicious occasion was graced by participants, educators, students, and parents, who congregated to witness the culmination of students’ tireless efforts. The exhibition featured approximately 850 innovative models, showcasing exceptional talent. Static and life models of Space, Human Anatomy, waste management, and recycling; innovative applications of Mathematics in everyday life; exquisite fine arts sketches and handmade crafts; engaging Social Science models; state-of-the-art Computer Science exhibits on Artificial Intelligence, data science, and cyber security; thought-provoking English and Hindi language models; vibrant Punjabi culture displays highlighting lifestyle; and an electrifying folk dance Bhangra performance enthralled everyone. In additional to this, the school hosted a medical Check-up camp in collaboration with Dayanand Medical College & Hospital. The science department also launched an eco-friendly soap made from organic and botanical oils, while a robot programmed to generate mathematical formulas through coding, mesmerized the audience. The students’ captivating presentations and demonstrations enthralled the spectators, showcasing their creative ingenuity. The Chief Guest lauded Dr. Sanjeev Chandel for spearheading this pioneering initiative. Principal Sir commended students and mentors for their unwavering dedication, culminating in a resounding success.
