To foster confidence and eloquence among students, R. S. Model Sen. Sec. School organised an Intra School English Declamation contest, under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Sanjeev Chandel (Principal) in which the students of classes VI-XII actively participated in three categories. The contestants convincingly expressed their views, mesmerizing the audience and the judges with their communication skills and confidence. Winners were selected on the basis of their overall performance. Bhavika (6 c) bagged the first prize, Prachi (6 C) secured second position, Lavanya (8B) got third and Navleen (7C) got consolation prize in the First Category whereas, Angel (9 A), Kiranjot (10 B), Bhavna (10 A) and Aarti (10 C) got first, second, third and consolation prize respectively in the second category. Furthermore, in the third category, Chetna (XII E), Harleen ( XII A), Shallu Singh ( 11 C) and Gursidak ( 12 B) won first, second, third and consolation prize respectively. Dr. Sanjeev Chandel felicitated the winners and encouraged the students to take part in such activities in future as well.
