23rd December,2024 With the aim of developing the personality of the students through community service,A ‘Seven Day NSS Special Camping Program cum Vedic Chritra Nirman Shivir ‘was organised at R.S.Model Sen.Sec.School from 23rd Dec. to 29th Dec.2024, in which 60 girls of 10+1 and +2 enthusiastically participated,under the esteemed guidance of Dr Sanjeev Chandel (Principal).The opening ceremony of this camp was a vibrant and inspiring event marked by the presence of distinguished guests, including ,Mr.Rakesh Kumar (Head incharge , Patanjali), Mr. Davinder Lotey (NSS ), Mr.Vyas Bembi(Manager ),Mr.O.P.Chopra,Mr.Kamlesh Bansal,Dr.Paramjit Kaur, Director Arya group of Schools. The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome and acknowledgement of the guests’ support .Then,a sacred Hawan Ceremony was performed potentially invoking blessings for the camp’s success and well being of the participants .Then Miss Sanpreet (Camp commandant) apprised the volunteers about the camp’s objectives and daily routine for its smooth functioning .Thereafter, Shri Vyas Bembi blessed the volunteers and motivated them to develop a sense of social and civic responsibility among themselves while Dr.Sanjeev Chandel expressed his gratitude towards the dignitaries for sparing their valuable time .The event culminated with Shanti Path and National Anthem.The second day of the camp began with performing of Yogasanas for the physical development of volunteers, followed by a Card Making Competition that witnessed a zestful participation from the volunteers.In the evening session, Rupali Mahajan ,a Gold Medalist dietitian from GNDU ,shared valuable insights on maintaining a healthy body and controlling weight.Overall,the second day of camp was a great success.
