Dec. 5, 2024 R.S. Model Sr. Sec. School commemorated the Martyrdom Day of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji with profound reverence and fervor during the morning assembly. Under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Sanjeev Chandel ( Principal ), the students and the teachers converge to pay tribute to the Ninth Sikh Guru. Agampreet Kaur ( IX A ) delivered an eloquent speech on the life of the great Guru, highlighting his commitment to truth, justice and equality.This was followed by a poignant poem recited by Tanvi ( VII B ), which captured the essence of Guru Ji’s supreme sacrifice.The atmosphere was further enriched by the soulful rendition of the the holy hymns , including ‘ Hind Ki Chaadar ’ by the students of class XI I and ‘Sadho Manka….’ Shabad gayan by students and music team, led by Mr. Harpreet Singh ,under the visionary guidance of Principal Sir.The performances left the audience spellbound and transcended into a state of serenity. Dr. Sanjeev Chandel commended the efforts of the students and the teachers for organising this tribute.He also encouraged everyone to delve into the life history of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji, drawing inspiration from his life and emulating the path of righteousness.
